The Art of the Chain: Links of Becoming

“Every link we Forge, is a moment of becoming-shaped by what we’ve endured, strengthened by what we choose to rebuild.”
Our life and essence are like a chain- a single link that starts as one. As time passes and we grow, evolve and adapt- more links are added, continuing to build, and expand upon who we are as beings.
Throughout our lives and within the expansion of our existence, some links may be broken, get taken away, or become lost. Pieces of us may be given away willingly; others unwillingly. Yet each time that occurs, the challenge rests within our ability, our decision to rebuild anew, restoring what remains.
You see, as we go through this journey of life, we may lose pieces of our chains.. Fragments of who we once were may break. There may be times when only half a link remains- or maybe just two. The strength of it may falter, unable to hold, unable to keep that foundation steady. And when that happens, other parts of us begin to waver too.
But, as time passes, we’re given a choice: to draw upon the lessons presented to us, rebuilding or reshaping the links we hold- or to succumb to the rough terrain, and cease our climb entirely.
This decision, rests in your hands. Succumb, or Persist.
If you willingly choose to continue to evolve- to add more, to persevere, to rebuild, re-add and re-strengthen your chain- then in the end you’ll have an endless link of resilience: strong, sturdy, and the very foundation of who you are.
The interesting thing about metal, is that it can be forged in flames, shaped by intention, and hardened by trial. Through this process, you can mold it into the precise image of who you want to be- and shape it into the life you wish to lead. Each link represents some piece of you, an essence of who you are. As time continues to pass, you can choose to let the links break, or choose to forge them stronger, shaping them anew. The Choice is ultimately yours.
“We are not defined by the links that broke, but by the courage to keep forging new ones. We are the artists of our own chains Becoming, is the art of mending what life has bent, and shining all the more because of it.”
As you live, you learn. As you grow, you can either take what was learned as an opportunity for positive change, or allow it to diminish. That choice is always yours. The possibilities are endless. Choose to be kind, choose to grow.
“Follow your dreams, listen to your heart. And always believe in your self. “
