Gratitude: A New Perspective

"If you want to find happiness, find gratitude."
How often have you gone through life, without truly appreciating what you are being gifted? How often do you find yourself falling into the same routines, patterns, and set of beliefs that keep you blinded to precisely what this world has to offer you?
If you answered most times, to this question, then you have come to the right place.
As each day passes, we may encounter an array of difference experiences, that either fuel us, or drain us. And at times, we may become so wrapped up within the moments that are happening outside of us, that we forget to appreciate the things that simply exist and are happening to us.
You see, each day you wake, is one to be thankful for, but at times we become so wrapped up within what is happening outside of us, that we tend to overlook it. But, it doesn’t have to be that way.
Maybe this was a pattern you noticed, maybe it’s something your seeing and want to shift. Well, good news, You still have an opportunity to do just that.

When you learn to be more appreciative of those little things in life, you allow yourself a chance of really appreciating, what is. You give yourself an opportunity to find a stronger sense of belonging.
When you allow yourself to find gratitude, you open up your perspective, and allow yourself a chance to see beyond what is right in front of you and gain a better sense of understanding for everything that this world is, and all that you can be.
The sheer fact that you woke up today is a blessing in itself. The sunshine peering into your window each morning is a gift, the fact that you have a place to rest your head, is magical.

When you take a few minutes out of each day to simply show that gratitude for all that currently is, you feel more appreciative for it all.
Understand that what you have now, may be a luxury to another and try to shift your perspective to match that precise tone you want to meet..

Here are a few approaches you can take to shifting your focus, and allowing yourself to be more appreciative for all that is.
Change your Thought Process:
While you go about your daily life, it's normal to find yourself feeling overwhelmed and swept up in the chaos of what your day might hold. That spilled coffee on your brand new shirt? It may suck, but is it really worth ruining your whole day over? See it as something that happened, but don’t allow it to shatter your whole day. Take a breath, and try to view it from a lens of light instead.

There is always a positive within the negative. There is always a light within the dark, and when you take the time to actually believe that, and to understand it, magic happens.
Everything may not happen for a specific reason but, regardless of, if you at least try to see the positive in whatever situation you may face, it will make what could have been a train-wreck of a day, become something so much better.
Realize that You are Unstoppable:
You are a warrior. Your capabilities, your possibilities, they are endless. When you believe that you are unstoppable, you think it often, it will become your reality.

Life is about the breathless moments you have and the experiences that go with it. It's about seeing all that you are surrounded with and grasping onto that sheer concept, that this in itself is a blessing.
This Life is yours to lead. The ship you are on, it’s your life. You are in control, even if at times it may not feel like it.

Whatever you have to offer, when it is given out of love and compassion, is more than enough.
You are enough. Don't be blinded to seeing that.
Gratitude is the Attitude to have, so why not practice it?
The universe awaits your presence and grace of, and all that you have, all that is, and all that will be, is deserving of the gratitude you have lying within.
As you live, you learn. As you grow, you can either take what was learned as an opportunity for positive change, or allow it to diminish. That choice is always yours. The possibilities are endless. Choose to be kind, choose to grow.
